As part of our operations, we undertake projects in our various focus areas to achieve results and to also make impact. These projects
are usually based on some of the research that we conduct, as well as our objectives for each particular year.
To ensure that we achieve our overall objectives effectively, we have projects in each of the focus areas of our Regular Operations as well as our focus areas in our Volunteerism Operations. Hence, we have three categories of projects: - Regular Operational Projects (Journalism, Writing & Entrepreneurship), Volunteerism & Global Issues Projects and General Projects (not necessarily related to our focus areas, but meant to enhance or support our operations).
Our mission for our Journalism Training Programme and is to train young passionate journalists who are professional and analytical in their reportage. For our writing programme, we aim to train writers who are versatile and can write engaging articles and stories.
The objective of our Entrepreneurship Training Programme is to train students and help them to build real companies, and gain working experience whilst still in school, under the guidance of highly experienced mentors. A key aspect of this programme is practical projects that members undertake in entrepreneurship as they build their real companies. We groom CEOs and Co-Founders and each of our startups is built with the triple bottom line approach:
– Profit (revenue), Social (impact), Eco-friendly (environmental).
Our mission for our volunteerism programme is to touch the lives of the deprived communities and the less privileged in society. Hence, each of these programmes has been very well thought out and planned for it to achieve the intended impact.
