Our Regular Operations refer to our operations in each of our training focus areas, with the exception of our volunteerism and NGO Work focus areas – ie: Journalism, Writing and Entrepreneurship. Our Volunteerism Operations are the operations that are related to our volunteerism focus areas. Those ones are in the next section below.
So we have Regular Operational Projects that are related to Journalism, Writing or Entrepreneurship. These projects are executed to give Telescopes (trainees) the opportunity to practice what they are taught by their training facilitators and mentors.
By executing a project, a Telescope is able to gain real hands-on experience as well as working experience, in line with our Working Experience Programme. Under this category, we take action through five main ways:
The mission of TTCJN is not just to train students and give them working experience, but to also imbue the sense of selflessness and patriotism in them. It is also to get them concerned about global issues and happenings that are affecting the world in general and to groom them to know how to do something about those global challenges. In view of that, we also have volunteerism and global issues projects through which we take action to impact communities and the world at large.
Projects under our Causes And Volunteerism Projects are in line with our Volunteerism Programme. See the different ways through which we take action and make impact under this category of actions:
