Do you have Questions?

Below you’ll find answers to some of the most frequently asked question. We are constantly adding more of
the frequently asked questions to this page. So you can be checking it to have some of your pertinent questions answered.

Tertiary Chapters (Universities)
  1. You have to be a university student. (If you are not yet at the tertiary level or you have graduated or you are currently not in school, you can still join us, but you will have to register as a Non-Chapter member).
  2. You have to fill our Membership Sign Up Form and be added to our WhatsApp group where we will have a virtual Recruitment Presentation to explain everything. (You will also have the chance to ask questions during the virtual Recruitment Presentation on WhatsApp).
  3. After the virtual Recruitment Presentation, then you can fill our online Membership Registration Form (different from the online Sign Up Form) and become a part of the TTCJN Chapter on your campus. (If you don’t yet have a TTCJN Chapter on your campus, then you can request to start a Chapter on your campus).

Junior Chapters (Senior High Schools)

  1. If you are a student at the Senior High School level, then you have to join the TTCJN Junior Chapter on your campus. (If you have graduated or you are currently not in school, you can still become a part of us, but you will have to register as a Non-Chapter Member).
  2. You have to fill our online Membership Sign Up Form and be added to our WhatsApp group where we will have a virtual Recruitment Presentation to explain everything. (During the presentation, you will have the chance to ask all the questions that may be bothering you).
  3. After the virtual Recruitment Presentation, then you can fill our online Membership Registration Form (different from the Membership Sign Up Form) and become a part of the TTCJN Chapter on your campus. (If you don’t yet have a TTCJN Chapter on your campus, then you can request to start a Chapter on your campus).

  • Yes. We have four training programmes that you can register for. After going through the training successfully, you will receive a certificate based on the number of programmes you registered for. So you can get 1, 2, 3 or all 4 certificates.
  • In addition, each member partakes in our volunteerism programme. So you will receive a certificate in that regard too.
  • And if you are appointed as a Chapter Manager or leader in any respect, that one too, you shall receive a certificate for it.
  • We have four training programmes: Journalism, Writing, Entrepreneurship and NGO Work.
  • Depending on the one(s) you are interested in, you can register accordingly. If you like, you can register for more than one programme.
  • You can read more about each of them here on this website, but we will also throw more light on each of them during the virtual Recruitment Presentation.
  • After you sign up, you move to the next stage of the membership process which is the Programme Selection Stage where you will choose the programmes you are interested in.
  • We have free programmes and we have paid programmes. 
  • So depending on the ones you are interested in, you do your selection and registration accordingly.
  • It is not just training that you are going to receive, but you are also going to receive mentorship and coaching.
  • If you are interested in Entrepreneurship and/or NGO Work, you will have your own company or NGO by the time you are done with the training.
  • If you are interested in Journalism and/or Writing too, you will end up becoming a real journalists or a real writer by the time you are done with the training.
  • You are going to gain real working experience as you are being trained.
  • You will get the opportunity to build three portfolios that will add value you.
  • You can even earn some money through some of the projects.
