Project: Girls In Class — How Ensuring Quality Education For All Girls Can Promote Massive Economic Development
The objective of our journalism projects is to change the way different audiences understand development issues in Africa. We hope to adopt new and inventive forms of storytelling through data, video and social media, to give the right perspective to the developmental issues of Africa.
TTCJN teams from different countries are collaborating on this project to make it a success.
Every day, for reasons such as sexual abuse, teenage pregnancy or war, 130 million girls are kept out of school. At the same time, research shows that, female education is one of the keys of development.
This project aims to highlight this problem and present solutions from different regions of Ghana and Nigeria. It is going to be done through in-depth journalism and storytelling, interactive online sessions and dialogues as well as different forms of social media campaign.
